A Rhosddu Royal Wedding Celebration

Children from the whole school enjoyed celebrating the coming royal wedding of Harry and Meghan. A street party lunch was held on the yard and every child made a flag for the bunting. Some children ordered a school dinner and received a lovely lunch box and a crown! Here are some highlights:

Year 2 and 5 Fire & Rescue Talk

Children in year 2 and 5 were given a fantastic safety talk from a member of Wrexham Fire Service. Children learnt about the types of jobs the service call out to and how people at home can stay safe. Some lucky children got to try on the protective gear worn by the crew. It was …Continue reading

Status Quo Drummer comes to Rhosddu!

In the Autumn term we had a treat for the children and staff! A drummer who played with the band Status Quo, Jeff Rich, came and delivered a drumming workshop for the whole school. A lot of learning, laughter and rhythm!   Jeff Rich and Rhosddu Drum Partner from Rhosddu School on Vimeo.

Year 6 Newton Apple Tree Project

Pupils in Year 6 planting some of ‘Newton’s apple seeds’. Rhosddu School will be involved in the development of Techniquest Glyndwr’s new science garden.
