Welcome to Grwp Melyn – Class B – Year 2!
The class teacher is Mrs Jodie Jones. The teaching assistant is Miss A Hemmings. On Wednesday afternoon Mrs K Christian teaches the class their weekly spellings.
Our outdoor learning day is Thursday during Summer term (outdoor kits to be worn to school) and wellies should be left in school.
PE indoors is on a Wednesday morning and PE kits will be sent home each term to be washed. Your child will need a pair of pumps (indoors) and a pair of trainers (outdoors). Joggers & hoodie are needed for colder months.
Our Summer topic title is “Danger at Sea” with a focus on Lighthouses, Grace Darling, pirates and ocean life and safety! We are also set to visit Greenacres Zoo for our summer trip.
