Welcome to Class A / Grwp Coch!
The class teacher is Miss Mel Roberts and the teaching assistant is Miss Gemma Davies. On a Friday afternoon Mrs Kay Christian teaches the class their weekly spellings.
We spend a lot of time learning outside, with the children having free access to our individual outdoor classroom at all times so please ensure your child is prepared for all weathers e.g. sun cream during the hotter months and hat and gloves for the colder seasons.
We have a rotational snack area that the children can visit when they feel hungry or thirsty and it is available all day. We will offer your child a milk each day and ask that children are provided with a healthy snack (fruit, yoghurt, cheese, vegetables).
We encourage the children to drink water throughout the day, therefore, if your child would like to bring in an extra water bottle that stays in school to be refilled, it would be most welcomed.
Reading folders will be sent home on a Thursday and are asked to be returned on a Monday.
