PTA

Welcome to the PTA page!

Easter Bingo!

Thank you so much to everyone who came to support us last night at our Easter Bingo! We had a fantastic turn out and everyone was very patient whilst we dealt with some ‘technical problems’!  We raised just over £500 – we’re over the moon – and there was enough chocolate left over to give all the children who attended, an Easter Egg!
Huge thanks to everyone who helped out, we really appreciate it. Happy Easter everyone!

What is the PTA?
The PTA is a group of teachers and parents who organise activities to raise money to help our children have the best experience at school. Over the years the PTA has been able to buy new play kitchens and waterproof clothing for the foundation phase, a new football kit for the school team and lots of books for key stage 2.

This year the PTA has already funded a visit from Coverdale Puppet Company for the whole school, paid for the bus to visit Danger Point, purchased new iPads and picnic benches for the yard and field as well as donating money to each class to buy new equipment and resources.

Who can get involved?
Parents, carers, guardians, grandparents can get involved. You can help as little or as much as you like. We need people who can support various activities from selling raffle tickets at Sports Day to getting involved in the planning and organising side of things. We meet each term and the meetings are friendly and informal. Don’t be nervous if you are new to school, it’s a great way to meet people!

How to get involved?

Please speak to any of us on the committee:
Carrie Hunter – Chairperson,
Julie-Anne Jenkins – Treasurer,
Karen Edwards – Secretary.
Mrs Grindley – Early Foundation Phase
Mrs Czulowski –  Foundation Phase
